Kevin asked Santa for this sign. That is the bathroom door.

We are making progress!
Check out the beautiful stain on the bookcase! And the pretty new light (with no bulbs in it, details). Also, a sneak preview of our coral door!
And lighting in the bathroom! Still without bulbs, which is why the shades are all crooked.

We have a vanity!
And it looks good! It's this vanity with square sinks. It also came with a large framed mirror that we aren't using in the bathroom, so we are trying to find another place for it.
They had to cut some of the drywall out to get the countertop in, so there we aren't able to paint just yet. Which paint color do you like? They are Symphony Blue on the left and Hague Blue on the right (both are Benjamin Moore).

Lighting for the bathroom
We need to select sconces for our bathroom. There will be 2 individual mirrors, one above each sink with 3 sconces, 1 on each end and 1 in the middle. We are doing chrome faucets, but I am leaning towards brass sconces, mirrors and cabinet hardware for a little warmth.
This is the mirror I am thinking we will go with.
Here are the sconce options.
I love the crystal on this one, but the shade isn't my favorite, so I would probably swap it out with something like this.

Big decisions!
We start our attic renovation tomorrow at 7:30am! But we have some major decisions to make in the next few days. The first: which toilet!?! I want a concealed trapway (see how they all have smooth sides, you don't see the outline of the waste pipe nor is there a little shelf for hair and dust to collect on?), comfort height toilet.
The Studio: round bowl, I like that it is dual flush.
The Town Square: elongated bowl, I like the fancy business on the front of the base.
The Tropic: elongated bowl, one piece toilet. The internet says one piece is better because it is easier to keep clean. Not sure I care.
Which toilet do you prefer?

Fail: I didn't buy mirrors for the bathroom!
Although they are beautiful, they are way too big for the space. So I had to cancel the order. Sad me.

Bathroom Faucets?
Kevin has decided we are doing polished nickel faucets with cross handles. I get to pick the faucet (as long as I stay within his parameters).
Do you like the low arc?
Or the high arc?

Beadboard: Fancy or simple?
We are planning to do a beadboard wainscoting in the bathroom. I am debating if it should be fancy and framed out like this:
Or simple, just beadboard, a baseboard and a top edge, like this:

Floor Tile Options
Here are some of the options I am considering for floor tile in the bathroom. We haven't done any real shopping yet, I found all of these online.
Basketweave
Lantern
Octagon
Spiral
Penny
I am torn between the basketweave and the spiral. Although I do love penny tile!

Bathroom Inspiration
I will be swiping ideas for new upstairs bathroom from these pretty, pretty pictures.
The navy grasscloth and the chevron beadboard (need help convincing Kevin on these). And the toilet.
Any thoughts?

Love the beadboard wainscoting, the basketweave floor, the sconces and the mirror.
Love the dark upper wall, white lower wall. If you get tired of pink, you could swap out the towels and rug for another fun color!
Our shower will be similar to this one and I like the double vanity and 2 separate mirrors, although I am planning to do a white vanity.
Again with the contrast between the upper and lower wall and the bright accent!
Any thoughts?

My first bathroom remodel!
Kevin and I helped our friends remodel their bathroom. It looks great (if I do say so myself) and we didn't kill each other!
